Paris Toujours Paris

La Basilique du Sacré Cœur de Montmartre was our first visit of the day. This is one of my favourite places in Paris.

Arc De Triomphe, this is one historic site to visit in Paris. We were lucky to witness a commemoration.

A slow walk down L'Avenue de Champs-Élysées, took us to Place de la Condorde, Le Jardin des Tuileries and Le Louvre.

A l'amour! a visit to the Pont Neuf.

Took the bus to Les Champs de Mars. Hello to the Eiffel Tower, walked up to Trocadero.

RER double-decker train from Trocadero to St Michel, Latin Quarter

This small wine bar is a great gem where they serve the most delicious wine, cheese and meats. Our lovely sommelier Bernadette created a platter to accommodate our request. The choice of wine was perfect.

We wanted to visit the top of the Cathedral for its amazing view. We arrived too late (we were enjoying the wine.)

Art in Paris: Walking towards the Centre Georges Pompidou, we discovered this amazing piece of art.

Eiffel Tower : 704 steps or the lift? No contest: the lift to the Top.

Twenty-four hours in Paris. Much to see, Much to do.
We bought a day pass Ticket Mobilis for about Eur7.00 each.

For lunch we went to the Monoprix and bought a baguette, cheese,
ham and a bottle of rose, fruits and water.
Picnic at Le Jardin des Tuileries.

A wonderful day in Paris.
