4 days in New-York.

I received a call from a young lady requesting a long week-end in New-York. As she has been before but not her two friends- she was put in charge of their journey, she wanted to plan an amazing time.
Their number one priority: shopping and sightseeing, art and fun.
I have been to New-York many times and I love the city, there is always something going on regardless of the season.

What to do in New-York for 4 days?
Departure:  Depart Friday after work: London  Heathrow : 20:05
Arrive 00:05 +1 day  New York.
Taxi to Hotel: Row NYC. Situated near Times Square The Row NYC Hotel was the perfect choice for them, it is such a good location to access anything and everything the city has to offer and much more.
After a few hours sleep, put on your walking shoes enjoy a New-York breakfast.
Things to do in New-York
  • Empire State Building: the view over the city is breath taken; no visit to New-York is complete without a visit.
  • Rockefeller Center: Have a coffee and watch people go by.
  • Ground Zero Museum Workshop:  this is a place to go and reflect
  • Grand Central Station:  Wondering around Grand Central Station is just amazing. The tall ceiling with its zodiac mural is just wonderful.
  • Time Square: See yourself on the massive screen among all the faces.  Best time to visit Time Square is at night. With all the neon-lights New-York is definitely transformed into something extremely magical.
  • Manhattan Bridge: if you have time, the view is just magnificent, great walk from the financial district.
  • Central Park: go for a walk in Central Park West Historic District; take the time to appreciate the history of the surrounding buildings: Ghostbusters Building, American Museum of Natural History and many more.
  • Weather permitting: Status of Liberty, find out why Bartholdi decided to adventure to America to pitch his sculpture.

Shopping: Have to go to Macy. Best place is Soho, all the little boutiques, worth a wonder.
I recently discovered and got lost in a huge shopping mall in the middle of Grand Central.
Art and museums: The choice of world-class museums is stunning from a sculpture garden in Midtown Manhattan to a sleepover beside a 94-foot blue whale to dinosaur to modern art, New York City's art and museums are there to educate and inspire. A visit is a must.
New-York by night: Broadway Show, each year, millions of locals and tourists go to a Broadway shows at most of the venues are located in the theatre district; there is something for every taste.
Night club: You do not have to be a local to enjoy clubs and lounges that thrive in the NYC nightlife scene.  Do your research and be safe.
Eating: ditch the pizza, try a pay what you weigh' restaurants, it is fun. Be careful the bill can be pretty high at the end.

Depart: Tuesday night New York :21:30
Arrive: 09:30 +1 day London

Feedback:
I flew to New York  and want to say a big thank you to Amlet travel for finding myself and my two friends a great hotel (Row NYC) right at the centre of Manhattan and an amazing flight with Virgin Atlantic.
Not only was the deal affordable for 4 nights, the facilities and hotel staff were exceptional. Including services such as room service, international and local calls and even access to the gym!
I would definitely book through Amlet travel again
Thanks
